How you can give
James 1:17 tells us that every good and perfect gift is from above. When we give our tithes and offerings, we show our gratitude and are acknowledging that God is the giver of all things. By tithing, we are giving back a portion of what is already His and by first giving, we are showing that He is first in our lives. Commitment to give financially is a direct reflection of our hearts.
Matthew 6:21 says "where your treasure is, there your heart will be also".
We are committed to seeking God's guidance in the way the tithes and offerings we receive are used and to being good stewards of money entrusted to Destination Church for purpose of furthering God's kingdom and making an impact within our community.
Malachi 3:10 states: "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse so there may be food in my house. Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it" We see that from the time of Abraham, God's people gave of all they had back to God and we believe his promise that you can't out give Him!
